Truck driving jobs with a mistemeanor drug charge?

I have a friend who is looking to get his cdl but called several companies and they said no drug charges. His charge was just for parafanalia (marijuna). The charge is 2 yrs old. Is there any companies who will hire him out there or is he wasting his time period?

its not only the trucking company but their insurance carrier too. he can try again but probably in 5 years and he has to stay clean for that 5 years

    Depends on what state. California and NH,MA,NY for example you can’t ask for a marijuana charge. Regardless in most states you need a court order to find out a mideameanor. As long as it is not a felony.
